Cycling
Kilometres of the town’s cycling trails offer a wide spectrum of route choices for recreational cycling. Old-timer Club “Biciklin” from Koprivnica organizes events within the Cycling Recreation Festival of Croatia, and their members ride bicycles which are more than 70 years old. The cycling trails in the town are well-connected with the suburbia and enable people to cycle all day long.
Among young people, urban cycling is very popular and they hone their skills on training grounds near the centre of the town.
The forests of Crna Gora and Vinica in the immediate vicinity of the town allow for a ride on forest tracks and single-track trails.
In the very centre of the town, there is the first monument to cycling ever set, and people can visit an open-air museum with bicycle replicas, from the first Leonardo da Vinci’s to today’s models, on their own two wheels.
The Drava route and the Bilodravska route
Eighty-kilometre long lowland route meanders by the river Drava, leaving everyone who decides to go on such an adventure breathless. The route passes through the most interesting parts of Podravina, follows the many river armlets and canals of Drava, and finally joins the international cycling route that goes all the way to Austria. It joins the Bilodrava route that passes through Bilogora and goes all the way to the river Sava.
